April 2012 - The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 have become law. From our perspective the main issue (and opportunity) that it raises is that previously non-notifiable Asbestos removal work has become notifiable to the HSE. February 2012 - we are delighted to announce that we have successfully attained accreditation from UKAS as a Type C body for ISO 17020 : 1998 - this sits alongside our existing ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001 : 2007 accreditations (see Accreditations) and further underlines our ongoing commitment in this important area.
